June 2010 - Rocky Mountain Power is pleased to announce that the Qu'Appelle Dam Hydro Project has been selected by SaskPower as part of the Green Options (GO) Partner Program. This 0.5MW run-of-river hydroelectric project is now eligible to receive a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from SaskPower. Under the terms of the PPA, SaskPower will purchase all electricity produced by the project at a pre-determined price for a term not to exceed 40 years.
