July 2011 - Rocky Mountain Power is pleased to announce that the Qu'Appelle Dam Hydro Project has been selected by SaskPower as part of the 2011 Green Options (GO) Partner Program.  This award will enable Rocky Mountain Power to increase the maximum size of the run-of-river hydroelectric project from 0.5 MW to 2.0 MW.  The project is eligible to receive a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from SaskPower. Under the terms of the PPA, SaskPower will purchase all the electricity produced by the project at a pre-determined price for a term not to exceed 40 years.
